A vision born from connection
What started as conversations at cultural gatherings grew into a national platform. The Lankan Professionals Network was founded by Sri Lankan professionals seeking a unified home for industry connections, knowledge sharing, and community support, and today unites professionals across the U.S. to empower and uplift one another. Based in Minnesota and officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, LPN is dedicated to advocacy and mission-driven programs.

LPN is run entirely by volunteers. From event-day help to board leadership, there's a role for the time you have. Leadership positions are 2-year terms with monthly board meetings, hybrid from Minneapolis, MN, with a remote option. Prior board experience welcome but not required.
